How Bully Room monetization works
Bully Room monetization is built around approved creator profiles, qualified activity, and eligible platform revenue from ads, Tail pre-roll, direct sponsors, and future creator programs. The goal is simple: reward real pet content, reduce fake engagement, and keep payouts tied to reviewable activity.
Creator fund points explained
Creator fund points are a weighted activity score. They help Bully Room estimate each creator’s share of the creator pool while keeping the system safer than paying for raw, repeatable clicks.
Tail qualified views
Tails carry the strongest weight because they are video-first and can support direct ad paths such as pre-roll or VMAP.
Post qualified views
Posts can contribute lower-weight activity when they meet the required watch/read threshold and are counted through server-owned daily buckets.
Trail qualified views
Trails and story tiles can contribute light-weight activity because they are quick discovery surfaces rather than full monetized video placements.
Server-owned counters
Client-written activity is treated as intake. Final creator counters and balances are maintained by Cloud Functions and admin-owned records.
What counts as qualified activity?
Qualified views
Bully Room uses a qualified-view model. For video content, the app records monetization-grade activity only after a meaningful watch threshold, such as a 5-second view. Repeat views and self-views can be filtered or de-duplicated so creators are paid for legitimate audience activity instead of accidental loops.
Why raw views are not enough
Raw views can include fast swipes, reloads, accidental plays, bots, and repeated loops. Creator fund points are designed to be more conservative so payouts are closer to real value generated for the platform.
Ads, sponsor revenue, and estimates
Creator earnings can be funded by AdMob in-feed ads, Google Ad Manager Tail pre-roll, direct sponsors, and other eligible platform revenue. Tail pre-roll remains the cleanest one-to-one ad path, but final payouts depend on reconciliation and review.
Tail pre-roll
Video ad placements before eligible Tails can generate ad estimates that may contribute to creator payouts.
In-feed ads
Platform ad revenue can help fund the creator pool, but ad impressions are not automatically direct payout events.
Sponsors
Direct sponsors can add future monetization opportunities for creators, events, breeds, rescues, and marketplace campaigns.
Payout process
Earnings shown in the app are estimates until finalized. Fraud, policy violations, invalid traffic, duplicate views, chargebacks, ad-network adjustments, or sponsor reconciliation can change final payable amounts.
Monetization FAQ
Do all users automatically earn money?
No. Monetization is for approved creator profiles that meet the program rules and accept the current policy.
Are ad views the same as payout revenue?
No. Ad views are delivery analytics. Payouts are based on approved monetization status, qualified activity, eligible revenue, holds, and review.
Why use points?
Points let Bully Room weight different types of activity fairly. A full Tail watch can be worth more than a quick Trail/story tap.
Can this change later?
Yes. The creator program can evolve as ad partners, sponsors, direct campaigns, and anti-fraud systems improve.
